Rema, a popular Afrobeats musician just achieved a record-breaking milestone in Nigerian music. His music, ‘Calm Down’ which featured Selena Gomez hits 1 billion YouTube streams.
Previously this year, he had a stellar accompanied with lots of awards after the release of his popular hits like ‘Aza Man’, ‘Ozeba’, and ‘Benin Boys’ which featured Shallipopi and has not only been a hit in Nigeria but worldwide.
His’Calm down” music also gave made him a record breaker, making him to become the very first artist to perform Afrobeats at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in 2024.
Also, the collaboration in the popular hit, ‘Calm Down’ between Selena Gomez and Rema which was released in the year, 2023 was also nominated on the Billboard charts and achieved significant milestones.
