“Real Change Takes Time” Tinubu Urges Patience in Addressing Nigeria’s Hardships
- In a recent remark, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu cautioned citizens about the realistic pace of economic and social reforms, stating that hardships cannot be alleviated with “solutions as instant as coffee.” Tinubu acknowledged the tough economic climate and challenges Nigerians are enduring but emphasized that sustainable, long-term solutions require patience, planning, and time.
Since assuming office in May 2023, Tinubu has introduced several reforms aimed at strengthening the Nigerian economy, including the removal of fuel subsidies and attempts to stabilize the currency.
