“Pray for Tinubu’s economic reforms”- Echocho urges Kogi constituents

Senator Isah Echocho, representing Kogi East Senatorial District, has called on his constituents to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration and Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo through prayers.

Senator Echocho emphasized that Tinubu’s ongoing economic reforms, though challenging, would ultimately yield positive results.

The federal lawmaker made this appeal on Monday, December 23, 2024, during the commissioning of the renovated and upgraded Bassa VIP Guest House in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The occasion attracted dignitaries, traditional rulers, and residents, celebrating a revitalized image of the region’s heritage.

The senator, through his media aide Mikail Ibrahim, described the renovation of the once-abandoned guest house as a testament to his commitment to community development and historical preservation.

The facility, which was originally built during the old Benue State era, had suffered decades of neglect until the lawmaker spearheaded its transformation into a modern hospitality landmark.

During his speech, Senator Echocho said, “I appeal to my people in Bassa to pray for the success of the current administrations at the federal and state levels.

President Tinubu’s economic reforms will bring positive outcomes.” The senator’s message ignited reactions from Nigerians as many condemned his message and tagged him deceitful.

@Amina – “You are an incompetent politician. What have you done as a senator for constituents? Now you are telling us to pray for Tinubu.”

@Johnson – “Corrupt politician with his useless advice.”

@Abubakar – “Not only pray, I will fast nonsense.”

@Suzan – “God punish you, idiot.”
