Police sh@@t young boy over Knock-out in Delta
In what will be seen as a very tragic event, a young boy in Delta State’s Ozoro town, Isoko North Local Government Area, has reportedly been sh@t and m#rd£r£d by a trigger-happy police officer.
The event took place on Saturday evening. It was discovered that the victim was in possession of a knockout when the policemen raided the scene.
According to reports, when the police attempted to apprehend the deceased youngster, he struggled and one of the officers sh@t him in the process.
However, the policeman’s heinous murder of the young boy has been strongly condemned by ISRCA, the Initiative For Social Rights Concerns And Advancement.
In a statement, Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen, the ISRCA National Coordinator, stated, “I condemn in strong terms the act’s perpetuating police officer’s unprofessional conduct.”
Additionally, the group urged well-meaning Nigerians, particularly those who are indigenous to the Ozoro Community, to always act civilly, particularly while interacting with armed police officers as he offered his condolences to the deceased’s family.
The organisation requested the Nigeria Police Force Delta State to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident and bring the negligent officer to justice.
Agberen said, “I sympathize with the family of the young boy that was allegedly sh@t by a Police officer at Ozoro last night, arising from knockouts that were found in his possession. It was alleged that the young man resisted arrest and while he was running, he was sh@t by one of the Police officers.”
According to reports, the policeman has been identified and apprehended.
