Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has distanced himself from his elder brother Jude Okoye’s legal issues, following allegations made by his twin brother, Paul Okoye.

The controversy comes amid Jude’s ongoing fr@ud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The drama unfolded when Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, accused Peter of trying to get Jude imprisoned.
Speaking to the press after the court proceedings on Friday, Paul vowed to do everything possible to secure Jude’s release. His statement fueled speculation that Peter may have played a role in Jude’s legal troubles.
However, Peter’s manager, Emem Kush, has dismissed these claims, stating that Peter has nothing to do with Jude’s EFCC case. “I don’t think Peter has any comments on this issue, because the case is based on the EFCC investigation and Jude Okoye. I don’t see what Peter Okoye has to do with it,” Kush stated in an interview with Saturday Beat.
Kush further clarified that Peter’s petition was solely against a company that had been receiving funds on his behalf, not against Jude. “The EFCC was the one that received all of this, so it’s best to speak to them to know their findings,” he added.
Jude Okoye was remanded in prison by the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, following allegations of a ₦1.38 billion fr@ud charge brought against him by the EFCC.
