Olori Naomi’s Sister Debunks Rumour of Ex-Queen’s Release
Ogunseyi Similoluwa, Olori Naomi’s sister has refuted claims that her sister, alongside Oriyomi Hamzat and others have been released from Agodi Correctional Center. They were arrested after 35 children d1£d in Ibadan.
Responding to the widespread reports of their release, Similoluwa addressed the misinformation directly on her Instagram story.
She wrote: “There is rumor that my sister [Olori Naomi], Alhaji Oriyomi, and the principal have been released. It’s a lie from the pit of hell. Please disregard it. They are still in Agodi Correctional Center. Thank you.”
This comes as the public is still very interested in the case which has gone viral due to the personalities involved. The incident occurred during a children’s Christmas party organized by the Wings Foundation at Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan. 35 children between 5 months to 13 years old d1£d and 6 others were critically injured.
After the incident, Olori Naomi, Oriyomi Hamzat and the school principal Fasasi Abdullahi were arrested and charged with conspiracy, mπrd€r and negligent acts causing h@rm. They were remanded at Agodi Correctional Center.
Despite the rumors of their release, official sources confirm that all are still in custody as the investigation continues. Oyo State Police Command warned the public to always verify information and disregard rumors.
