Nyesom Wike, the former Vice President of FCT has destroyed the plan of Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President. He’s trying to thwart all efforts for Atiku to fail in securing the PDP 2027 general election ticket.
Nyesom Wike clearly stated that Atiku’s chances of securing the 2027 PDP general election ticket are null further starting that he strongly believes the party will pivot to another path.
Wike expressed evident boldness and took his stand in his belief that PDP will choose a good candidate that can effectively bring the party together and bring more voters to the party side showing that the party structure is changing and a new and capable leader is needed for future success.
During Today’s live media parley in Abuja, Wike clarified that Atiku has continuously shown his political blueprint to the public following consistent rejections. He claimed that that pattern displays a lack of confidence in Atiku leadership prowess.
Still on the matter, Wike argued that PDP needs not just new leadership but ideas that aligned with Nigerians aspirations.
Wike said; “Did he (Atiku) not present its blueprint before Nigerians? Did Nigerians chose him? He is lobbying for another chance. The chance will not be there. In which party? How can we use one man for how many years?
“Look at America, I am sure you all did not support Trump saying he is this, he is a racist, he is that, we are crying, Americans were thinking about something else, thinking for the good of their own country made a decision.
“You presented your blueprint in 2023, Nigerians heard you clear and said thank you, but it will not work, we will not support you. Criticisms do not mean opposition is working”.
