Nollywood meets politics: Yul Edochie and Seyi Tinubu’s governorship claims ignite reactions

Controversial Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has recently ignited reactions after making a post revealing his ambition of governing Anambra state, a region where he hailed from.

Not stopping there, the self-acclaimed politician whose post caught the public’s attention described Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the next governor of Lagos State while declaring himself as the next governor of Anambra State.

Prior to this time, it was reported that President Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, revealed a plan to contest in the next election, which the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), later condemned, saying, “Lagos State is not a family inheritance.“
