Nollywood actress Ini Edo announce the de@th of her father
Nollywood actress/ Young Famous and African star Ini Edo has announced the passing of her father.

The veteran actress shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page on Monday evening, 24th February 2025. Edo described her late father as her greatest cheerleader and first love, expressing the deep void his loss has left in her heart.
“This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My beloved father, my first love… The heavens have gained an angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on, King,” she wrote.
Iniobong Edo Ekim was born on 23rd April 1982 and is a veteran Nigerian actress from Akwa Ibom State. Ini Edo began her film career in 2000 and has featured in more than 200 movies since her debut.
Recall that Ini Edo announced her marriage last year to an unknown man and revealed her daughter’s face to the world. While speaking on the Young Famous, and African reality show, she mentioned that she had her daughter through surrogacy because she couldn’t carry the pregnancy herself.
