Nigerian woman returns $5,700 found in workplace

A Nigerian woman, Victoria Ebiere Ogunremi, has been commended for returning $5,700 cash she found in the toilet of her workplace in New Jersey

Victoria, who is of American descent  has received a lot of praise for her honesty and kindness from her employer, coworkers, and the person who lost the money.

Victoria talked about her decision to give the money back and how she was instantly worried about the individual who had misplaced it.

“The thought of the pain or trauma it could cause inspired me. I did not hesitate to return it because of my Christian faith and beliefs. Honesty brings to peace of mind, and it is a key virtue I cherish,” she stated.

Before even alerting her management, Victoria took the initiative to track down the  owner of the cash.

In which both her employer and the individual who lost the money later expressed their sincere gratitude to her.

“The management was very pleased and proud of me. The owner was incredibly grateful and showered me with praise,” she added.
