Nigerians mocked the security agency as the policeman not only takes the money but also gives back change, further revealing the extent of the corruption.

The incident took place at a busy checkpoint, where the officer in question appears unfazed by the presence of cameras.

The policeman was captured approaching vehicles, engaging in what appears to be a casual conversation with drivers before slipping into the act of extorting money from them. The fact that he even offers change demonstrates a level of comfort in his illicit activities, making it clear that this is not a one-time occurrence but possibly part of a larger, systemic problem.

The video has ignited reactions online, with many condemning the officer’s actions as a clear abuse of power. A lot of social media users have expressed their anger calling for an immediate investigation into the matter.

@Endurance- “This has been their habits nau. It’s not new”

@Musa- “Nigeria police and bribing na 5&6 ooo.”

@Sani- “Very corrupt and hungry people everywhere.”

@David- “Nigeria police has lost their respect because of hunger.”

One of the main concerns raised by the public is the impact of this corruption on the trust between citizens and the police.
