Nigerian Gospel Singers Nathaniel Bassey And Jumbo Aniebeit Set To Perform At Trump’s Inaugural Ball

Nigeria’s gospel music community celebrates yet another significant victory as singer Jumbo Aniebeit gets ready to perform at a Washington, D.C. event commemorating the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.

Previously, pastor and singer Nathaniel Bassey gained attention for being invited to lead at Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast on January 20, 2025.

This event, organized by Reverend Merrie Turner, is non-political and will occur before the inauguration of Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

According to the gospel singer’s brochure, on January 20 and 21, he will perform at the US African and Caribbean Economic and Sustainable Development Summit and the World Leaders Peace and Harmony Inaugural Ball.

The African and Caribbean International Leadership Conference is hosting this event, which will take place at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., to commemorate Trump’s inauguration as president.

Sharing the flyer on his page, an excited Jumbo Aniebeit wrote in a caption:
