A viral video of female rapper Nicki Minaj speaking pidgin language has sparked reactions online and across the entertainment industry following her newly released single.
Popular American rapper Onika Tanya Maraj, aka Nicki Minaj, has broken the internet again as she tries to speak Nigerian pidgin English. Diva Nicki Minaj recently released a new single titled “If It’s Okay” featuring David Guetta’s soulful, dramatic vocals and Nigerian singer Davido.
In the newly released single, Davido’s verse got people talking about the hit song, the song had already gotten millions of streams around the world.
Nicki Minaj took to her Twitter account to banter with the Nigerian artist Davido, she claims Davido wanted to win her in her song.
“AH! Davido Dey try win me for my own song eh? no worry, my own Dey come soon for una pikin & the Barbz worldwide” she wrote on X.
The Nigerian Afrobeat artist Davido, took the banter to another level to respond to her post saying “I come in peace”.
Many believe it’s just a way of promoting the song, but the conversation has sparked reactions online between Wizkid FC and Davido’s fans.

The American rapper Nicki Minaj refused to stop the banter, so she went to her Instagram to communicate in the Nigerian pidgin language.
Her video on IG has gotten many laughing as she tries to speak in pidgin language, she went further to tell her fans to teach her instead of laughing.
