Moses Bliss Addresses Ebuka Songs’ Sudden Departure from Spotlite Nation
Moses Bliss, a gospel artist and Spotlite Nation founder, has opened up about the sudden exit of his former signee, Ebuka Songs, from the label.
Bliss revealed that Ebuka left after just 11 months, which is a in violation of a three-year contract.
Ebuka allegedly said that his departure was due to a “clash of visions,” claiming that his artistic path was no longer in line with the goals of the label.
Moses Bliss stated that he had no ill will towards Ebuka and disclosed that he gave him permission to pursue his own career despite the contract violation.
Bliss made this revelation During a press conference at The Experience 2024 music concert, when he and Ebuka Songs both gave solo performances.
Ebuka Songs left Moses Bliss primarily to focus on his gospel ministry, stating that he aims to avoid distractions that do not advance the kingdom of God
.He expressed dissatisfaction with some of the music styles promoted by Moses Bliss, which he felt did not align with his own ministry
Additionally, Ebuka’s departure followed a period of creative disagreement, as he struggled to contribute to group songs that didn’t resonate with his calling.
