The controversy arose after Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, stated in a recent interview that she had informed Aloba about the nurse’s involvement, but he chose to ignore the matter.
Addressing the claim in a TikTok live session, Aloba insisted he had never met or spoken to the nurse.
“I’ve never set my eyes on the nurse. If I had seen her, it would have been on the internet. We haven’t met physically. The nurse and I never had any conversation at all.
Since I started narrating what happened to Mohbad that night, I never mentioned the nurse. I didn’t see any nurse there; nobody introduced the nurse to me,” he said.
Aside from the ongoing controversy, Aloba also raised concerns about his late son’s property ownership.
He questioned why some of Mohbad’s assets were in the name of his grandson, Liam, stating that he never made any property purchases under his son’s name.
“I don’t know how they managed to do that. When he came back from his tour, I met him, and he said he had bought two new plots at Elepe but in Liam’s name. I do not know the reason,” Aloba stated.
He further revealed that most of the documents for Mohbad’s land were held by Wunmi’s mother, except for one at Gberigbe, which Mohbad had planned to use to build a church.
