Mary Gold Apologises Publicly to Ijoba Lande Over His Marital Crisis
Controversial businesswoman and socialite Mary Gold has apologised to embattled content creator Ijoba Lande after his marriage to his wife Dara crashed. This comes after revelations about Dara’s alleged infidelity with Nollywood actor Baba Tee.

The drama started when Ijoba Lande accused his wife Dara of having extramarital affairs with several colleagues in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee. Mary Gold who was Ijoba Lande’s manager and Dara’s close friend, found herself in the middle of the scandal as she introduced Dara to Baba Tee.
In a video she shared on her social media, Mary Gold addressed the allegations and apologised for her role in the events that led to the breakdown of the marriage. She admitted to taking Dara to Baba Tee’s house without telling Ijoba Lande and acknowledged that was the beginning of the problem.
She said, “I’m begging Ijoba to forgive me for taking his wife to Baba Tee’s house and for allowing her and her boyfriend to treat infection in my house. I want Nigerians to beg him for me.”
Mary Gold further explained that during their visit to Baba Tee’s house, a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ went wrong. According to her, Dara initiated the game and dared Baba Tee to do intimate things, which led to an affair between the two. Mary Gold said, “I won’t lie, it was Dara who seduced him. I was in the kitchen listening to music when I fell asleep, leaving the two of them in the living room.”
Besides apologising to Lande, Mary Gold also addressed Baba Tee and apologised for involving him without his notice. But she expressed disappointment in him for lying about the situation. She said, “I also want to apologise to Baba Tee for taking Lande’s wife to his house without telling him, but at the same time, my spirit is not happy with him because he lied against me. But I know he was trying to cover himself.”
The drama has generated different reactions within the entertainment industry and among fans. Some are trolling Mary Gold for being involved while others are commending her for taking responsibility and apologising publicly.
