Lady Apologizes for Ridiculing Actor Nkubi and His Family After Backlash
Nigerian woman, Obianuju Benita Anekwe has apologised after her earlier comments about comic actor Victor Udochukwu Nwaogu, aka Nkubi and his family went viral on social media.

The drama started when Nkubi shared a lovely Christmas photo of himself, his wife and child and everyone was celebrating. But Anekwe’s comment on Facebook was savage. She said Nkubi’s wife married him and had a child for him, citing genetic inheritance and societal pressure.
Fans and social media users slammed her for being insensitive and discriminatory. Many praised Nkubi’s wife for loving and staying with him and asked for respect for the couple.
After the backlash, Anekwe took to social media to apologize. She wrote:
“I want to say sorry to everyone that was offended by the post I made yesterday, especially Nkubi’s family. I will never intentionally say or do anything that will hurt anyone. I don’t lack empathy and I am not a wicked person. Sorry. Thanks for reaching out.”
