Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (popularly known as Kizz Daniel) was born on May 1, 1994 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is the 2nd of 5 kids born to Kola Anidugbe a renowned artist and educator and his wife. Kizz Daniel attended Abeokuta Grammar School for his secondary education and later studied Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Despite his background in education, his passion for music led him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

In 2013 Kizz Daniel signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment and that was the beginning of his professional music journey.
