Joy rocks social media after Police arrested Lagos school teacher ass$ulting three-year-old pupil in viral video

The Nigerian Police Force has arrested a classroom teacher ass$ulting a three year-old boy at Christ-Mitots School, Isawo Road, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The woman, identified as Stella Nwadigo, was captured on camera hitting the young child five times while teaching numbers 61 and 62.
The disturbing two-minute clip, which went viral, has drawn public condemnation and led to swift action from the authorities.
In the video, the teacher was seen repeatedly using physical punishment as she tried to teach the child, who appeared visibly distressed.
The brutal treatment sparked controversy on social media, where users called for her immediate arrest and prosecution.
One X user @Mr. Lorence expressed anger at the lack of remorse shown by the teacher, she said, “She’s not even remorseful one bit. I hate when they just arrest them like that without any form of torture and headbutts.”
Another user, MarketerKazeem, commended the rapid response, saying, “That was so swift. She doesn’t know what’s going on yet until they sentence her because they will remand her straight. Una do well, Social media people.”
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the teacher’s arrest on Wednesday afternoon.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated, “Thank you for the update. She is currently in our custody for further necessary actions.”
