In a recent podcast, Jada P spoke of the time Wizkid won a Grammy in a collaboration with Beyonce titled “Brown Skin Girl.” She wrote a statement about Afrobeat and how dominant it has become.
But in the eyes of so many, she was only a baby mama to the Afrobeat singer; she claims people don’t see the hard work she has put into Afrobeat as an entrepreneur.

When her statement about Afrobeat was published, what got her upset was the narrative of the caption used, which was “Wizkid’s baby mama reacts to Grammy win.”
