While many might expect forgiveness to lead to reconciliation, Lande made it clear that although he has forgiven his wife for her actions, he has no intention of taking her back into his life.
During an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Lande explained that his decision to forgive was rooted in his religious beliefs.
He stated, “I won’t accept her back, but for me to make heaven and for God to forgive all my sins, I will forgive her. She has done her own, I forgive her, but it’s gone.”
Lande’s comments come in the wake of serious allegations against his estranged wife. In the past, the actor accused Darasimi of cheating with more than 20 men, including fellow actor Baba Tee.
While Baba Tee initially denied the allegations, he later admitted to an affair with Darasimi, claiming that he was unaware she was married at the time.
In contrast, Darasimi denied the infidelity, asserting that she only engaged in a non-s£xual act with Baba Tee, which involved sitting on his lap during a game of ‘Truth or Dare.’
Despite these claims, Lande’s decision to forgive Darasimi, even though he refuses to accept her back, speaks volumes about his maturity and ability to separate his emotions from his spiritual convictions.
Forgiveness, as Lande has expressed, is not about condoning the wrongdoing, but rather about liberating oneself from the emotional burden of anger and betrayal.
