Isaac Fayose took to his Instagram page to lament about the bad state of the judiciary and Nigeria as a whole. He said that the total number of people who voted for Senator Natasha is bigger than the number voting for her recall.

‘They said registered voters are 480,000, and the people who are voting for Natasha Akpoti’s recall are 250,000 but the people who actually voted Natasha into the senate are not up to 100,000. So, people did not come out to vote but they came out to recall. Nigeria jagajaga, even the person wey sing the song na jagajaga.

We are in a jagajaga country, judiciary is completely gone. If you offend anybody now, you say, I leave you for God, because we can’t leave you for man anymore, no more human now, na jagajaga people remain, what a country, it is sad, there was a country!

All of us, we go meet am, our children go meet am, our unborn children go meet am. Make una continue”

The move for a recall comes after Senator Natasha’s suspension from the Senate Chamber after a dispute with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, over seating arrangements.

On Wednesday, 19th March 2025, constituents began the process of her recall.
