“I’ll quit music if anyone claims they wrote song for me” Kizz Daniel Vows
Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, vows to quit music if anyone apart from Runtown claims to have written a song for him.
Kizz Daniel recognizes Runtown as the first person ever to write a song for him, calling him “Sound God.”
A netizen questioned the truth of Kizz Daniel’s claim, leading the singer to firmly assert that he would stop music if proven wrong.
Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has made a bold declaration, vowing to quit music if anyone other than fellow singer Runtown claims to have ever written a song for him.
The singer shared this on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, where he praised Runtown for his songwriting skills.
In his post, Buga singer only acknowledged Runtown as the only person ever to pen a song for him.
He wrote: “For the first time in my life, person write song for me and na Runtown …… Sound God is not human.”
This revelation caused mixed reactions online.
An X user with the handle @KTwinBlog expressed skepticism.
“For the first….you sure?,” the user queried.
Kizz Daniel responded, doubling down on his claim.
He wrote: “Make any mofo come out say dem write for me I go stop music right now.”
While using songwriters is common across the world, it remains a controversial topic in Nigeria, where fans often associate an artist’s talent with their ability to write their own songs, viewing those who use songwriters as less talented.
Musicians like Davido have faced several media backlash for openly admitting to using songwriters.
