“Ignore f@ke news, Mike Adenuga is alive”_ Dele Momodu urges Nigerians.
Nigerian journalist and former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu has debunked rumour circulating about the d3ath of Globacom founder, Mike Adenuga.
In an X post on Tuesday night, Momodu said he had a phone call with the reclusive billionaire.

He said Adenuga confirmed he was hale and hearty and thanked his well wishers.
“Ignore the f@ke news… The Spirit of Africa DR MICHAEL ADENIYI AGBOLADE ISOLA ADENUGA is hale and hearty. He’s right now at his desk working round the clock in support of the Nigerian economy… He just called me to thank everyone for their concern…,” Momodu said.
Recall that Chief Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr CSG GCON (born 29 April 1953) is a Nigerian billionaire businessman, and the fifth richest person in Africa according to Forbes.
His company Globacom is Nigeria’s second-largest telecom operator and also has a presence in Ghana and Benin.
He owns stakes in the Equitorial Trust Bank and the oil exploration firm Conoil (formerly Consolidated Oil Company).
Forbes estimated his net worth at $6.7 billion as of May 2024.
