I will advise Davido to retract his statement, Nigeria made him-Joe Igbokwe
APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe has advised the Afrobeat singer, Davido to retract his statement about the Nigeria’s economy being in sh@mbles.

Recall that Davido was a guest on a Radio program in the U.S. last week. He asked Nigerians living in the country not to leave, following Trump’s victory in the 2024 Presidential election because Nigeria’s economy is in sh@mbles and staying in America would be a better option.
Davido said ”Leave America and go where? Go back where? It’s not cool back home. My country now, the economy is in shambles. The exchange rate is messed up.
Alot of stuff not going well. The economy is not just good anymore. The oil prices are too high. Imagine a country that produces oil. We produce the oil, and we are paying more money for oil than a country that imports the oil.”
This statement by Davido sparked a lot of reactions from different people including a response from Joe Igbokwe. He posted on his social media account which says,
” My in law, Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in sh@mbles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement asap. Nigeria made Davido QED.” He said.
