Recall that the singer was arrested a few weeks ago for defamation against Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.
The fight, which resulted in an online saga between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest, trended for days with the celebrity barman vowing to use his influence to release Speed Darlington from detention.

Despite the fans of Burna Boy mocking Chief Priest for not being powerful enough to get the victim out of prison, the singer made a video recently thanking him for his support while he was yet in prison.
He further stated that he thought Cubana Chief Priest was just using his name to chase clout but later proved him wrong and came through for him.
In his words, “I thought you were chasing clout with my name, but you came through for me. It was confirmed you sent 2.5 million naira while I was in detention.”
Speed Darlington’s statement about the celebrity barman has proven that Cubana Chief Priest kept to his promises and worked underground to ensure the singer gets freedom.
