“I Feel Broke Next to My Dad” – Davido Reveals
Nigerian superstar Davido has revealed that despite his own success in the music industry, his dad’s wealth makes him feel broke. He said this in a recent interview in Paris.
He was in the French capital for the Amiri Fall/Winter fashion show at Paris Fashion Week alongside Omah Lay. The event held at the Palais de Tokyo had a lot of celebrities and fashion lovers in attendance.
In a viral interview, Davido was asked if anyone has ever made him feel broke despite being rich. He replied, “Yeah, my dad.”
Davido’s dad, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian billionaire businessman and philanthropist. He is the founder and president of Adeleke University and CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited, a conglomerate with interests in various sectors. Dr. Adeleke’s net worth is estimated to be around $700 million to $2 billion.
Davido has in previous interviews talked about his dad being disciplined and humble. He once said he didn’t know his family was rich until he was 13, and his dad drove a Honda Accord despite being rich.
