Netizen Reaction to Court Granting Honorable Alex Mascot Ikwechegh Bail

Isioma Nwaligbe: This whole thing is happening to this guy because he is a “Baby Senator”. If someone like W!ke for example slaps you in this country, nothing go happen.

Kunle Erin Jakes: The 500k is the bail bond which could be forfeited in the event he jumps bail. The matter has not been tried yet, so the 500k is not a fine. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to prison or pay fine or both. But if I were the guy I will sue the Senator in a Civil suit for unlawful arrest and claim damages of 1bn.

Enegbani Mameh Sule: This is going to serve as a deterrent to others that no one is above the law, standing behind the bar alone is going to humble him.

Itohowo Jonsen: The Best punishment could have been the man to kneel down on the ground and apologize to Nigerians and reward the guy 500k.

In as much the rich oppresses the street hustler let’s stop being too emotional about this. If the video came from someone different from the bolt driver I could have fully supported the ass@ult.

They is higher possibility that because the bolt driver was doing video that’s why he was calm. We know the Abuja language “oga you no the feed anybody or pay my house rent na so una were stealing our money go still the oppress us.
