Heartbreak as Lala Akindoju Mourns the Loss of Her Beloved Father
Nollywood actress Kemi Lala Akindoju is bereaved as her father, Chief Williams Olubunmi Akindoju, passed on December 20, 2024, at 71.

In an emotional Instagram post, Lala wrote, “Sometimes you think you’re ready but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a PRESENT & LOVING parent like my daddy. Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy.”
She shared a tribute graphic for her father but didn’t say how he died.
The comments are filled with condolences from fans and celebrities.
Lala Akindoju born March 8, 1987 in Lagos State, Nigeria is an actress and producer. She has been in several stage plays and films and won the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards Trailblazer Award in 2016.
She is married to celebrity chef Gbubemi Fregene aka Chef Fregz and they have a son.
This ends a tough year for Lala who has been a big part of Nollywood and has given so much to the industry through her work.
