Harrison Gwamnishu Rescues Wife Who was Br#tally B€aten by Husband (Video)
Harrison Gwamnishu, a renowned human right activist and SSA to the the governor of Delta State has rescued a woman (name withheld) who has been br#tally beaten by her husband in Amaokpara, Anambra.
In a video clip, the woman could be seen carrying a baby while sleeping in the bush with severe head injuries.
According to Harrison, his attention was drawn to the situation by an X user with the the handle @streetbarrister.
It has been gathered that the lady is a mother of two and has been suffering this inhumane treatment from her husband for a while.
In his X post, Harrison noted that the ab#sive husband could not be arrested as the wife begged and shielded him from the police.
He said, “Regarding the criticism leveled against us for not arresting the husband, it is essential to examine the circumstances surrounding our visit to their home.”
“Upon arrival, the wife took measures to protect the husband, refusing to allow us to see him until we pressed the issue, at which point she presented him to us.”
“Throughout our interaction, she maintained that she wished to remain with her husband and asked that we not apprehend him.”
“Our primary focus was ensuring the woman received proper medical care, and we appreciate the Wife of the Anambra Governor’s intervention to provide further support to her and children.”
This revelation has had people questioning her sanity while others attribute it to the bond shared by every couple.
