Nollywood star Funke Akindele has done it again with her new movie” Everybody Loves Jenifa” which is now the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time. The comedy movie has made ₦1.466 billion at the box office and has broken all records and set a new standard for the Nigerian movie industry.

The movie which premiered on December 20, 2024, beat competitors like Toyin Abraham’s “Alakada: Bad and Boujee” and has done so well at the box office. Within 12 days, “Everybody Loves Jenifa” became the fastest Nollywood movie to make ₦500 million. This is a testament to Funke Akindele’s huge influence in the industry.

This is coming after her previous record-breaking movie “A Tribe Called Judah” which was the first Nollywood movie to hit the ₦1 billion mark in 21 days.
Everybody Loves Jenifa is a huge hit, it made ₦191.92 million in its opening weekend and ₦338.30 million in its first week.
