Emotional moment Joeboy said he was kicked out of school because of fees
Popular Nigerian music artist Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, known as Joeboy, shared an emotional story of him while growing up.

Joeboy, while recounting his experience in the past, spoke on a podcast titled “Back Stage Banter” with Isi about how he was chased out of school because he couldn’t pay his school fee.

When narrating, Joeboy reminisced on how the whole class called his name when the school bursar came into the class to chase debtors.
According to him, when he got home, he told his parents his decision to not attend the school anymore.
Joeboy also explained how, as a result of his previous experience, his “Young Legend Foundation” was birthed.
Relating his experience to the present day, the Joeboy Foundation is to help people who find it difficult to pay fees in school.
