Delta State Government suspends Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Morals and Diaspora Affairs
Recall, in matter of hours, VDM called out Hon. Amb. Dr Favour J. Obakoro AKA Vida Modelo who was a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Morals and Diaspora for using her office to allegedly defræud Nigerians, promising work permit and visas to them.
It wasn’t up to 24 hours when the governor announced the suspension of the SSA.
The announcement on the official page of the Delta Government on Facebook read,
“The Delta State Government has announced the suspension of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Morals and Diaspora Favour J. Obakoro aka Vida Modelo with immediate effect. According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Eze Emu, the suspension is to enable the security Agencies carry out a proper investigation on allegations against her of using her position as a government official to obtain monies fræudul3ntly from different persons.”
The decision of the state government to suspend her is to allow relevant authorities to investigate and scrutinize the allegations against the SSA.

The decision of the government is on the right direction as it tells the general public that the state government is distanced from the fræudulent act merged with æbûse of power.
