Davido’s Alleged DM Threat to Radiogad Erupts on Social Media

Social media is buzzing after Radiogad claimed, “Davido came in My DM Last night and thr£atn£d to Kpai Me… Guys If Anything Happens To Me Or My Family Make Una Know Say Na Davido Run Am.” He further asserted his right to free speech, stating, “As a social commentator, I Have The Right And Freedom To Express My Views On Social Media And I Am Not Scared Of Anyone.”

The reactions are mixed. Some, like one netizen, question Davido’s maturity: “Why will a top artist be in someone’s DM self? Isn’t he mature enough to overlook things?” Others are skeptical, with one netizen saying, “Funny if anyone believes Davido will type all this stuff to this oloriburuku 🤣🤣.” Some are outrightly critical, with comments like “Davido is too useless 😂😂” and “Who does Davido think he is?”

However, many pointed out the content of the alleged messages. “You’re claiming Davido thr£atened you while from the chats, he’s telling you to take down the video or face legal consequences,” one netizen stated, questioning the legitimacy of the threat. Another added, “Your right to call out others is not absolute. He simply asked you to leave him alone—it’s that straightforward.” The Grammy reference also came up, with someone saying, “Nah, that Grammy part pains him; you fvcked by mentioning it.” Clearly, the debate rages on, with many suggesting Radiogad is seeking attention, while others believe he’s genuinely afraid.

While some netizens express the genuineness of the alleged chat. The big question is: Does the right to freedom of speech give one the absolute wherewithal to talk down on others?

The b@ttle would be f!erce
