Recall that the Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, donated N237 million to orphanage homes last year, saying that he had always wanted to use his platform to serve others.
The money the Afrobeat singer Davido donated was the funds he raised during his birthday in 2022 through his friends and well-wishers.
Early this year, Davido wrote on his X account that he and his foundation will donate the sum of N300 million to the orphanages around Nigeria as his yearly contribution to the Nation.
Again, He announced this morning on his X account that he would donate the sum of N300m to orphanages across Nigeria to help young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. He stated,
”Once again, my birthday this year we Donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
