“Davido Lives Rent-Free in Your Head” – Netizens Slam Samklef for Recent Backlash on Davido
Samklef a music producer and singer has, since lately, committed to singing the disgrace of the popular Nigerian afrobeat artist, Davido.

In the same rhythm of his hûmiliat!on tweets on X about Davido he said,
“Like I said even if he ft Jesus and his angels same noni! Make we bet?”
“You see why Wizkid is different and classy? Nobody knew the artists on his album until it was ready! But the other guy will post all the artists and act like he’s doing them a favor. 😂 And yet, you’ll be claiming 001. No style!”
Samklef Noni since late has been having a serious beef with Davido. This time he criticized Davido’s usual style of making his artistes public before album release.
To him, he does this in a guise, pretending to be doing them “a favour.” He claimed the “001” nickname of Davido is not due to him.
Unlike Wizkid who would keep his artistes secret till the album is ready, he suggested that Wizkid is a better influencer and artist who comes in a better “style.”
This post aimed him a serious nudge from a netizen who stated, “Davido is living in a 16 bedroom apartment in your head for free. Stop the hatred.
Get healing Bro. Why h@ting someone whom your whole existence means nothing to. If Davido stopped singing today he is made for life.”
However how sarcastic this reaction might be, the point is clear. “Leave Davido alone”, “he’s not your match.” “You cannot bring him down.” Those and more are implied in the netizen’s reaction.
