Known as one of the key critics of Davido, Radiogad made a video and posted it on X, formerly Twitter, saying, “It is time to retire, Davido. I advise you to quit.”
He further said, “Davido, leave music for Wizkid and Burna Boy. I will pay for you to learn another skill. Your voice sounds like a generator.”

He revealed that after listening to Davido’s ‘Snippet’ it’s nothing but a noisy generator, meaning the Damiduro’ crooner is not good at music, which led to his candid advice of quitting.
Radiogad’s message seems to come from a place of concern, or perhaps frustration, over the direction of Davido’s music. The snippet in question has left some listeners underwhelmed, with many commenting that it sounds repetitive or lacks the freshness that defined his earlier work.
“Is this the same Davido who took the world by storm with his vibrant energy and groundbreaking sound?”
“I don’t understand OBO again ooo. Man has to do better, honestly. Meanwhile, I’m still a big fan.”
Some fans argue that the artist hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations set by his past successes, and Radiogad’s words are a reminder that even the brightest stars can dim when they fail to innovate.
Regardless of the criticism, the influence and effort of Davido in the Nigerian music industry are undeniable.
