Popular Afrobeat Musician, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, launches a football club in Lagos.
The football club, 30BG FC, is expected to compete with other local clubs within and outside Lagos
Davido launching this football club means that he has now joined fellow Nigerian celebrities like Burna Boy, Don Jazzy and Tacha who also own football clubs in Nigeria.
The club acquisition was revealed in a trending post on the Lagos Liga X handle (formerly Twitter), introducing 30BG FC to the 2024 season.
The post says that Davido’s entry into the football scene will make the competition “more r!sky.”
The announcement post read:
