Darkoo Calls Out Peter of P-Square For Attempting to Sabotage Her New Single
In a social media post, British-Nigerian rapper and singer Oluwafisayo Isa (Darkoo) disclosed that the music video for her most recent song, “Focus on Me (All the Sexy Girls in the Club),” which was released on January 2, 2025, was taken down for six days because of ridiculous demands from P-square’s Peter Okoye.

The rapper’s “Focus on Me” sampled the 2009 hit song “Gimme Dat” by P-Square, which she said had received all required approvals prior to its release.
Despite taking all the required steps to guarantee that P-square would earn roughly 50% of the royalties from her new record, Darkoo claimed to have had a confrontation with Peter Okoye (Mr P), who insisted on being featured in the song.
Darkoo alleged that the singer claimed he had written his own verse for her song and would like to be on it.
He asked that she keep it hidden from his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, as they would likely stress her.
Darkoo asserts, however, that when she approached Jude and Paul Okoye for the rights to sample “Gimme Dat,” they were both courteous and did not ask for more than was necessary.
Darkoo stated that Peter Okoye was not happy with her commitment to include him in the song’s remix.
Therefore, he claimed that she “disrespected him” and removed her music video from YouTube.
