Daniel Regha Warns Against Blindly Following Crypto Influencers

On X (formerly Twitter), social media commentator and critic Daniel Regha started a conversation about transparency and ethics in the crypto space with his post.

He said: “Never forget top crypto influencers get paid to promote a coin, or work 24/7 to get others to invest; Know a grift when u see one, otherwise u will lose ur money to the opportunists & the already rich.”
In recent years many crypto projects have failed and investors have lost big time. Many of these failed projects were heavily marketed by influencers who promised huge returns without fully understanding or disclosing the risks involved. By the time these projects imploded the influencers had already gotten paid and their followers were left to clean up the mess.
Critics say this is a form of explo!t@!ion, influencers taking advantage of the public’s lack of knowledge about crypto investments. Many new to crypto are drawn in by the promise of quick wealth and don’t know about the volatility and potential loss. Regha’s tweet is a warning, to be vigilant and question the motivations behind influencer endorsements and recognize the warning signs of a scam.
A classic example of this is the meme coins which got popular through influencer hype. Some made big profits, others lost big time when the coins crashed. This has repeated itself across many projects and now there’s a call for more accountability and regulation in the space.
His tweet has gone viral and users started commenting. CelebrityNote has gathered some of the reactions:

@Al_speedi said “Do your own research and stay. Protect your money; o. the crypto space is full of opportunities and traps.”
