Daniel Regha Slams Aisha Yesufu for Criticizing Goodluck Jonathan
Social commentator Daniel Regha has triggered more political debates online after calling out activist Aisha Yesufu for criticizing former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. As usual, Regha was frank in his attack on Yesufu, pointing out what he saw as a contradiction in her political choices.

Regha wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Aisha Yesufu should be the last person criticizing Goodluck Jonathan’s administration; Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t Peter Obi work with Jonathan during his ‘corrupt and failed’ administration? Same Obi that Aisha campaigned for during the last elections with promises of reviving Nigeria, after Obi was Atiku’s running mate in 2018/19. Y’all can’t be serious.”
Regha’s statement got mixed reactions from Nigerians, with some supporting his view and others disagreeing strongly.

@SimoncoleB said, “Well, maybe Peter Obi didn’t win for a reason. The people around him couldn’t hide their true selves or character for long. It was all a facade. Most of them used Peter Obi to window dress their past mistakes or misdeeds, whichever, and the Labour Party is filled with them. Most who got lucky under the Peter Obi wave have decamped to APC, while some in the party allegedly play anti-party activities.”

Several times Obi came out publicly to call on anti-graft agencies to investigate him while in office, and till date nothing has been found on him. So I am asking you once again, how was he the reason?”

@OrakVision said, “The fact that subsequent administrations have been a colossal failure does not make Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s (GEJ) regime any better. The man was clueless and mediocre. Not only could he not manage insurgency properly, but Nigeria experienced the biggest looting ever under him until Buhari broke the record. GEJ needed to go, but our party system didn’t give us the opportunity to elect the right leader but Buhari. No one should excuse Jonathan, please.”
Daniel Regha is mostly known for his controversial posts and never fails to bring one up from time to time and this was no exception.
