Daniel Regha Reviews Carter Efe and Khaid’s ‘Pray’
Daniel Regha, a Nigerian social commentator and influencer, has reacted to Carter Efe’s new song ‘Pray’ featuring Khalid. He is known for his straightforward reviews and critiques and he had mixed feelings about the song.
In his review, Regha said ‘Pray’ is a decent song but he asked Carter Efe what is his role in the song, “asides shouting ‘Original’ in the intro, I couldn’t hear him sing, which is a good thing for a few reasons”. He also said the song could have gone deeper into Khaid’s experiences especially his hospitalization in 2024. Regha also advised Carter Efe to have a better PR strategy, he said the current one “wasn’t worth the controversy”. He ended his review by giving the song 4/10, stating that it’s only for the flow, beats, and vocals.
‘Pray’ is trending for the Afrobeat sound and the collaboration between Carter Efe and Khaid. The song is available on Apple Music.
