Daniel Regha raises eyebrows with provocative question
Daniel Regha, who is considered one of the most controversial figures in Nigeria, has thrown a provocative question about the Nigerian government to Nigerians.
His question on X
If the FG was making money from the fuel subsidy removal as reported, why then is Tinubu’s administration borrowing nonstop?
This question stems from the recent approval of the $1.7 trillion loan request by the House of Representatives.
It can be recalled that the government removed fuel subsidies some time ago in 2023. Since then, Tinubu has come out several times to lay claims that removing fuel subsidies has saved Nigeria from bankruptcy and, as such, has made Nigeria save more than ever. However, he continues to borrow every now and then, and this has made Daniel Regha ask such a question
His question has raised the eyebrows of many Nigerians who have given their opinions on the matter.
