Cristiano Ronaldo Speaks Out on Breaking Social Media Records: ‘It Was Expected’
The football icon Cristiano Ronaldo talked about his experiences becoming the first individual to amass one billion followers on all social media platforms.
Ronaldo said the accomplishment was satisfying in a recent interview with YouTuber MrBeast, but he acknowledged he wasn’t shocked.
The football player credited his enormous fan base to the widespread passion for both football and his profession.
Although Ronaldo was happy to reach the milestone, he reaffirmed that the success was expected due to the steadfast support of his supporters throughout the world.
“It was good. A good achievement, but I wasn’t surprised, to be honest.
“I know the passion that people have for me and for football as well. For the career I still have, I felt that passion, so it wasn’t a surprise. I feel happy, but in the same way, not surprised,” he concluded.
Cristiano Ronaldo became the first person to reach one billion followers on all social media platforms in September, marking a historic milestone.
He thanked his admirers from the bottom of his heart for their steadfast support during his remarkable career.
