Cubana Chief Priest shades Burna Boy amidst Tems Grammy award

Nigerian female artist Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, recently won her second Grammy award with her song “Love Me JeJe,” winning the Best African Music Performance.

Celebrities and fans all over the world have sent congratulatory messages to her as she was the only African award winner at the 2025 Grammys.

One interesting part of the celebration is Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, bashing Burna Boy while celebrating Tems.

In his recent story on Instagram, Cubana Chief Priest claims Tems wouldn’t have won the award if Diddy wasn’t detained.

“If to say Diddy dey outside dem fro use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy,” he wrote on Instagram.

Though Burna Boy and Tems are the only Nigerians to win the Grammys, despite several artists being nominated.
