Controversy erupts as PDP members exchange blows at BOT meeting

A meeting of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ended in chaos, with members exchanging blows.

The incident, which occurred during a critical strategy session, has sparked reactions on social media with many mocking the party who claimed to be working to defeat President Tinubu in 2027.

 According to sources present at the event, tensions had been brewing for some time, with longstanding issues between key figures coming to a head.

It all turned over when heated arguments of party leadership and future direction escalated into physical confrontation.

The incident has drawn criticism from the public space, with many questioning the leadership capabilities of the PDP in light of such an embarrassing display.

Nigerians argue that the violent clash undermines the party’s image as a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Despite public blackash, some PDP supporters defended the incident, saying such moments of conflict are bound to happen in any large organization and that they should not define the party’s overall trajectory.
