The Swedish Prosecution Authority announced on Thursday that it has closed the investigation into r@pe allegations against French football star Kylian Mbappé, citing insufficient evidence to proceed.

She strongly criticized media reports that suggested the player had commented on the alleged incident during his visit to Stockholm. “He prioritizes providing his explanations, if required, to the Swedish judiciary,” Canu-Bernard said, maintaining Mbappé’s stance of innocence while condemning speculative reports in the media.
