This historic milestone is joined by new certifications for some of Beyoncé’s songs and albums that further the legendary status of the singer. Among her great strides come Diamond-certified singles: the global anthems “Halo” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” which have stood the test of time in the illustrious discography of the singer.
At the same time, her albums reached new heights of recognition: the critically acclaimed 2022 album “Renaissance” by Beyoncé went 2x Platinum, the game-changing visual album “Lemonade” reached 4x Platinum status, and earlier works such as ”I Am… Sasha Fierce” and “Dangerously in Love” each reached an impressive 7x Platinum certification and all serve as a proof to her long-lasting effects within the music landscape.
RIAA President Michele Ballantyne gushes over Beyoncé on this occasion. She said, “We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres. Beyoncé’s iconic catalog has earned the achievement of most certified title for a female artist in RIAA’s history.
Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records – and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”
Innovation and influence are the two words that describe a career, from the front singer in a girl band named Destiny’s Child to soloist, presently holding world records; she extended the borders of music, fashion, and culture. With this recent RIAA achievement, she is setting herself among the really big ones of all times.
It also comes not long after her latest Grammy win at the start of 2023, when she became the most awarded artist in Grammy history ever, beating all previous records with 32 trophies to her name. That underlines an unrivaled artistry and relentless pursuit of excellence by Beyoncé decade after decade across genres.
She has gone from creating and inspiring, to dominating, making both her fans and peers alike stop and remember the mark she has been able to leave on the world of music. Be it through innovative visuals or chart-toppers, her legacy speaks volumes about creativity, resiliency, and talent.
With 103 accredited titles to her name, Beyoncé is a living icon in terms of performance and female power; let’s just say one thing: Queen Bey is nowhere near retiring.
