Baba Tee: Anyone who sleeps with my wife will die – Portable warns

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stark warning to anyone who attempts to sleep with his wife, actress Ashabi Simple.

The warning comes on the back of actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, admitting to having an affair with his colleague Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi.

In a series of impassioned voice notes sent to Baba Tee, Portable condemned the actor’s actions and expressed his disappointment, given his high regard for him.

Portable, who has built a reputation for his controversial and outspoken nature, made it clear that anyone who attempts to get close to his wife should expect dire consequences.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner shared these voice notes on his Instagram story, making his stance public and stirring significant attention across social media.

“I swear to God, if anybody moves close to my wife, the person will die,” Portable warned, emphasizing that he would not tolerate any disrespect toward his wife, whom he described as an actress.

He added, “You gave Lande’s wife doggy, is that how you people behave in the movie industry?” Portable’s words was a criticism of Baba Tee’s actions, and he further expressed that he never imagined the actor would engage in such behavior.

Portable also touched on the broader implications of sleeping with another man’s wife. “Normally, the person who sleeps with another man’s wife is not at fault, but why did you sleep with another man’s wife?” he asked. 

Portable seemed to suggest that such actions were detrimental to one’s life and success, warning Baba Tee that it could lead to setbacks.
