Popular Nigerian songwriter Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake, has deleted his bio and every post on his Instagram account.

During the Olamide Flytime Festival yesterday, Asake, who many thought would have been present, didn’t come.
What might be wrong between Asake and Olamide?
Asake was signed to YBNL after he released his hit song ‘Omo Ope,’ saying he had been begging the YBNL boss to help both Fireboy and Chinko Ekun, his friends, so that the same gesture could be extended to him.
However, he got the opportunity when Olamide demanded that they meet, after which he requested if Asake would like to join the family. This was after Asake had been sending text messages to him since 2020.
Olamide had helped to shape the careers of singers like Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, and Fireboy DML, among others, launching YBNL in 2012.
A few months after leaving YBNL, Asake launched his own record label called Giran Republic.
